Shipping and payment terms

1. General
We release our shipments daily. Incoming orders which we receive before 1 a.m. will be shipped the same day as a rule. Else we dispatch within 24 hours which is the next day or on weekends on Monday.
Urgent orders could be sent by GLS Express or courier (optional at extra costs).
Shipping will be executed as per our General Business Terms (AGB) at the risk of the purchaser. With handing over of the goods to transport company (Mail, GLS, forwarder) the risk of loss and damage is passed on to the purchaser.

2. Transport methods
We dispatch our shipments within Germany and the EU regularly with GLS. To countries outside the EU or Europe we dispatch partially through GLS but also with other transportation companies at our choice. Deliveries within Hamburg city limits we carry out with our own delivery service.
Shipments above a weight of will be dispatched in Germany and Europa by truck service. Into other countries we ship by air- or seafreight as per agreement or our choice.
On request we offer deliveries with your own delivery notes.

3. Shipping Costs

a) Shipping in Germany
Orders are without shipping costs with a value of goods above Euro 200.- .
Exceptions are: Heavy goods such as board, glue, paper, metal goods or machines with more than 40kg. For shipments of this kind of articles we will bill shipping costs. Expenses for express deliveries will be charged as well.
The minimum value of an order is Euro 25.- + VAT

b) Shipping in Europe

Orders are without shipping costs with a value of goods:
Euro   400.-  (BE, DK, FR, LU, NL, AT, CZ)
Euro   500.-  (IE, LI, MC, PL, CH)
Euro   600.-  (GB, SE)
Euro   800.-  (FI, IT, NO, SM, SL, ES, VA)
Euro 1.000.- (HR, RS, SK, HU)
Euro 1.500.- (BG, EE, LV, LT, PT, RO)
Exceptions are: Heavy goods such as board, glue, paper, metal goods or machines with more than 70kg. For shipments of this kind of articles we will bill shipping costs. Expenses for express deliveries will be charged as well.
The minimum value of an order is Euro 25.- + VAT
VAT will not be charged if you have an European VAT-IT-number and mentioned it with your registration in your account.

c) Shipping in countries outside Europe
Please ask for detailed shipping costs to other countries  before you place an order!

4. Damages
Please check your shipments immediately after receipt of the goods for damages. If there is a damage of the packaging, make sure that the supplier (Mail, UPS or forwarder) confirms the damage in writing e.g. on the delivery note and take care for a proper documentation (e.g. by taking photographs). For mail deliveries you have to claim the damage latest within 24 hours at your local mail office.

For deliveries through GLS please claim the damage within 48 hours at Schmedt.
If the delivery has been executed by a forwarder, please claim damages within 4 days at Schmedt.

If the packages are intact but the content is damaged please forward your claim within 48 hours at Schmedt.

6. Complaints
We could accept complaints based on transportation damages only within the a.m. mentioned time. For other complaints please contact our sales department by phone or e-mail for further activities. Unpaid (freight collect) returns will be rejected.

7. Payment Terms
Registered customers from outside Germany may order by pre-payment or credit card only through our SSL-protected service. You may also pay through Paypal. For other payment terms please contact our sales team for further information.
